Etsy style finds for cold winter days

There is no need to sacrifice style on cold winter days. Winter fashion doesn't have to mean resorting to puffer jackets and ugg boots to keep you warm.

Have a few merino basics that you can layer under your winter wardrobe for extra warmth. These can be easily found anywhere from the likes of Glassons, Max, or The Wool Company.

A good winter coat is a great investment. Wool is best and will last you a few winters if you look after it well.

Fur (fake or vintage) is everywhere this winter. Check out your local vintage store. Or else there are some great options available online from Etsy / Ebay / Trade Me.

Another thing to keep an eye out for is anything made from Harris Tweed. Made from pure virgin wool, this cloth is handwoven in the islands of the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. Wear a vintage tweed blazer to add a touch of class. If the fit isn't right, be brave and upcycle the fabric into a clutch bag. Black and red tweed is great for adding a bit of punk style.

Have a few options for winter accessories - some neutral mittens for your morning walk to work and something less conservative for the weekend.

Here are a few etsy finds for staying stylish (and warm) this winter:
